R.I.N.O. - Republican In Name Only. Dave Bisbee is a RINO. He votes for tax increases. He supports amnesty for illegal aliens. He won't vote for Pro-Life legislation. He does all these un-Republican things, but he runs for office as a Republican.

Why would Dave Bisbee run for office as a Republican if he doesn't actually believe any of the things Republicans believe? Because in Benton County he couldn't get elected running as a Democrat. Dave Bisbee Has Voted For Billions of Dollars in Tax Increases

Dave Bisbee likes to tell the voters of Benton County that he is a conservative. Sadly, Senator Bisbee’s record indicates something else entirely. Dave Bisbee is a big government tax and spend liberal. He is probably the most fiscally liberal member of the Arkansas State Senate. Dave Bisbee never met a tax he didn’t want to increase.

Dave Bisbee Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

In 2005 Dave Bisbee said the United States federal government needed to offer amnesty to illegal immigrants. On January 12th 2005 Dave Bisbee had the following to say in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette:


Bisbee said the real solution is to change the immigrants’ status, as President Bush has proposed. "We need to make these people legal. That’s the way it should be done.... Change their status…”


In the 2005 session of the Arkansas State Legislature Senator Bisbee sponsored SCR9. SCR9 asked the federal government to grant amnesty to all underage illegal immigrants upon their 18th birthday.

Illegal immigrants don’t deserve to be rewarded for breaking our laws. Dave Bisbee is wrong for wanting to grant amnesty to law breakers.

Dave Bisbee Voted Against Pro-Life Legislation in 2003

As a State Senator Dave Bisbee voted against House Bill 1020 in 2003. HB 1020 was the law that created the Choose Life license plates that are now available to drivers here in Arkansas. When the PRO-LIFE movement needed Senator Bisbee he refused to answer the call. Senator Bisbee voted with the PRO-ABORTION senators Madison, Argue, Salmon, Gullet, Brown, Steele, and Bookout. Why won’t Dave Bisbee take a stand for PRO-LIFE values?
